Eye Lounge presents: Waking Matter

Eye Lounge is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, Waking Matter, on view from August 15th to September 14th, 2025. Waking Matter will include new work by Hedda Neelsen at Eye lounge Gallery.

Waking Matter is a collection of paintings and drawings that visualize inner experience through still life observation and imagination. Creative practice was used by the artist both as a catalyst for and a means of deepening qualities of mindfulness and presence. As if bringing life to forms that were once inanimate, this work reflects a growing awareness of areas within the body and psyche that were previously only dimly lit.

The exhibition will be on display from August 15th to September 14th with an opening reception taking place on Friday, August 15th from 6-9pm. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
